Day 28....
waterlogged and stranded
the air is rank
the perfect storm approaches
what had seemed to be a crowning victory
quickly turned to an endless nightmare
all 100 men succumbing to the beast...

as salt water fills the cabins
we are forced into the open
the slashing of tentacles and weapons
the air now reeks of blood.
countless times i had wished i would die
or that the beast would subside.
eaten alive, none of us will survive.

leviathan...this watery grave awaits me...
the ocean turns to red...but i am all but dead.

Day 29...
no end in sight.
exhausted...the calming.
alone and forsaken.
waiting for the day to break.
and to be dragged into darkness...darkness.
blackened sea.
the end is near...no sense of fear.
i must persevere...it rears its head.

no sense of fear...my end is near.

bones broken, devoured
between rows of jagged teeth.

helpless and crippled beside my men.
the smell of death, nausea sets in.
the beast of the sea...i give my plea
i take my final breath, please death take me.
take mercy unto thee...
and yet...still i breathe.

the beast is waiting, the serpent's lurking.
the ocean will be a sanctuary no more.
100 souls forever screaming in pain...
as i lie helpless in the bowels of this leviathan.
please death take me away.
please death take me away.

as we decend to the depths,
i fade into the black death.
the beast placed judgement on me
shipwrecked and slaughtered at sea.
